Brands we sell, install and support
We stock the same brands we deploy on site, so the equipment you buy here is equipment we can configure, integrate and service afterwards.
Buy the equipment, or have us install it
Rolo Electronics is a low-voltage integrator first and a store second. You can order hardware and wire it yourself, or hand the whole project to the team that designs, installs and supports these systems every day. See our installation services.
System design before installation
We evaluate property layout, entry points, blind spots, lighting, cable routes and recording needs before recommending hardware, so you buy the system the building actually needs.
Clean, concealed wiring
Cable is routed inside walls, ceilings and soffits. No surface trunking across a facade, no loose runs in a rack — the finish matters as much as the equipment.
Local recording, remote access
Footage records to an on-site NVR or DVR that you own, then we configure mobile apps, notifications and remote playback on top of it.
Greenwich CT, Fairfield County and Westchester NY
Local technicians, local support, and a team that comes back for upgrades, troubleshooting and maintenance rather than shipping you a box.
Buying and installation FAQs
Straight answers on what we install, where we work and how the equipment records. Still unsure which system fits your property? Talk to a technician.
Do you install the equipment you sell?
Yes. Every product in this catalogue can be installed by our own licensed technicians. We survey the property, plan camera positions and cable routes, run and conceal the wiring, mount and aim the hardware, configure the recorder, and set up remote viewing on your phone before we leave. Book a free quote and we will scope the job before you buy anything.
Which areas do you serve?
Greenwich, Connecticut is our primary market, with full coverage across Fairfield County — Old Greenwich, Riverside, Cos Cob, Stamford, Darien, Norwalk and New Canaan — and across Westchester County, New York, including Rye, Port Chester, White Plains, Harrison, Scarsdale, Larchmont, Mamaroneck, New Rochelle and Yonkers. We also cover selected New York City areas.
Should I buy an NVR or a DVR?
An NVR records IP cameras over Ethernet, usually with Power over Ethernet so a single cable carries both power and video. A DVR records analogue cameras over coax and is the right choice when you are reusing existing coax runs. For a property being wired from scratch, we install PoE cameras with an NVR.
Do these cameras depend on Wi-Fi?
PoE cameras do not. They take power and video over one Ethernet run back to the recorder, so they keep recording even if the Wi-Fi drops. Wireless cameras and video doorbells do rely on Wi-Fi, which is why we check coverage at each mounting point and, when needed, install networking gear before the cameras.
Where is my footage stored?
On the property. We build systems around local recording to an NVR or DVR hard drive, so footage stays on site and does not depend on a monthly cloud subscription. Remote viewing and playback from your phone are configured on top of that local recording.
Can I return a product?
Products bought through the online store can be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided they are unused, in original packaging and in resalable condition. Email info@roloelectronics.com to start a return.
