Meet the Founder
Julio Cabrera
Founder & Lead Low-Voltage Technician
Julio got his start pulling cable for commercial CCTV integrators across Westchester and Fairfield counties — racking NVRs in retail back-of-house, terminating fiber in office buildings, and learning why some systems hold up for a decade and others fail in a year.
After more than a decade in the trade, he founded Rolo Electronics in 2014 to bring that same commercial-grade engineering to homeowners — without the contracts, monthly fees, or generic gear that the big alarm companies push.
His approach is simple: hidden cabling done right the first time, local NVR storage so footage stays on your property, and equipment selected to last — not to lock you into a subscription. Every residential design at Rolo is walked through and signed off by Julio personally.
Today the crew installs across Greenwich, Stamford, Rye, Scarsdale, White Plains, and the surrounding towns — handling everything from a single doorbell camera to estate-wide camera, alarm, network, and audio systems.
